Eva Georgene Apfeld (nee Warren) of Erieau passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of May 21, 2022. Eva was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (nee Brock) Warren. Born in Erieau, Eva was the loving wife to the late Gerrit “Gerry” Apfeld (May 7, 2020). Eva was a loving mother to the late Christopher (who passed at 4 months) but is survived by:

Their daughter Susan Hendsbee (late Maxwell) and her partner Nick Bryant, her children Christopher & Jill Hendsbee (Hazel, Maxwell and Angus) and William & Natasha Hendsbee (Eva),

Their son Jack Apfeld and his partner Sharon Davis, his daughter Lisa Montrose Apfeld and her husband Todd Montrose, his grandchildren Tiana Reid Apfeld (Ayden and Adelynn) and Chase Montrose,

Their daughter Amy Green (late Ronald) and her children James and Deanna Green (Julia), and Ronald & Katy Green (Ronnie),

Their son Andrew Apfeld and his daughter Korell Apfeld & fiance Matt Treloar.

Eva is predeceased by all her siblings, Emma, Margaret, Ted, Bob, Bill, John and Clinton.

Being born and raised in Erieau, Eva had a true passion for everything about Erieau. She loved to tell her childhood story of being the last house before the pier and walking down the beach to pick the black-eyed susans. She was delighted to have such a loving family and enjoyed all the times making memories. She was dedicated to her walk in the Lord and was an active member of the St. Paul’s Anglican Church. She loved playing cards and attending all the church events.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken.  A Celebration of Life will take place for both Eva and Gerry at their home, 12 Nichols Ave, Erieau on Saturday July 2, 2022 from 11:00 – 2:00.

Donations made to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.
