  • Sad to hear of Don's passing. I will miss our chats as we met downtown from time to time.
I appreciated and admired Don's dedication and hard work and enjoyed his advice and support many times. We both had an appreciation for muscle cars and the travel adventures and individual challenges the game of golf presented.
May the love and memories you shared with Don bring you comfort and strength.

  • Dear Peggy and Family,
My sincere condolences to you all. It breaks my heart to loose another friend and colleague from Thompsons. I will remember Don while working under his leadership at Thompsons, his door was always open for a friendly chat or if I needed any guidance. I will never forget his 'sweet tooth', even though he probably shouldn't have had too many sweets.
He will be missed by so many in the community. Hold you memories close and Don will always be by your side. Rest in peace my friend.
    Sincerely,
    Susan & Art Poole

  • It was a distinct privilege to work with Don at Thompson’s for 30+ years. Don was the quiet listener who could sum up long winding discussions with accuracy and provide the sober second thought.
My condolences to Peggy, Craig, Kelly Dawn Anne and families.
Thank you for sharing Don with so many of us.
  • I was very sorry to hear of Don's passing. I have many fond memories time spent with he and Peggy - we camped in their backyard, went shopping for goldfish, they took us to the movies, let us have a pajama party in their basement, and basically put up with a lot of young girl nonsense. I know we tested his patience on many occasions but he was always kind and gracious. Please accept my sincere condolences.
