DAVID Maurice CARON 1947-2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Maurice Caron on the 16th day of April, 2025 at CKHA at the age of 77. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was born on September 28, 1947 to Maurice and the late Irene (nee Vandenberghe) Caron.
Survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Shaw) Caron of 19 years, loving father to Denise (Matt) McKay and Kathy Caron (Derek Vouk). Stepfather to April (Mike) Schenk and Jimmy Titus. Grandfather to Colin, Raegan, Carson, Riley (Kristen), Reese, Griffin, Zachary and Ben.
Brother and brother-in-law to Nancy (Ray) Labadie, Brenda (the late Dave) Klages, Randy (Barb) Caron, Rick (Pat) Caron, Brian (Loretta) Caron, Sandy (Ron) Russell and predeceased by sister Dianne (Bill) Jenkins). Also sadly missed by sisters-in-law Janet (Russ) Korpan and Karen Humphrey. David will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends that he has made over the years.
Long time employee and retiree of Navistar, Dave had many friends throughout the working years. Dave and Mary Ann spent many summers together camping at Summer Place campground. He spent his free time watching all sporting events.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the palliative care unit at CKHA. Your patience and devotion to our family during this time will not be forgotten.
