By the time you read this, Gail and I will have taken our youngest daughter Makaila to Brock University in St. Catharines where she will begin her studies in English…creative writing to be exact. We are proud parents.
I know you’ve read these words before and I will probably say it again…that being a Dad has been the most interesting and awesome journey of my life. And I know that being a Dad hasn’t ended for me, but one thing is different…when I dropped Lynn off at school, Darrell and Makaila were waiting at home. When I dropped Darrell off at school, Makaila was waiting at home. This time there was nobody.
It’s going to be a big change for us, this empty house. All I can say is hurray for grandchildren!
