2013-05-15 “Our Book Donation Program”

At the Blenheim Community Funeral Home we believe that our support does not stop the day of the funeral; rather it goes beyond and involves the community as a whole. Keeping that in mind, we have a program in which we will donate a book to a local library in memory of each person with the hope that it will provide support, educatoin and hope to all who may seek it. This is a letter that I received from the library:
Dear Mr Eskritt:
On behalf of the Chatham-Kent Public Library Board I would like to thank you for your ongoing support for the CKPL’s Literary Angel program. We have received more donations from your Funeral Home than any other in Chatham-Kent and wanted to acknowledge your efforts with this letter.
The Blenheim Community Funeral Home stands as an example of how to recognize and honour residents of our community who have passed. Literacy and learning is a key factor in helping Chatham-Kent to flourish. Because of your support the library has been able to benefit the community by helping with the growth and development of our residents through the purchase of materials for our libraries.
Thank you,
Kathryn Goodhue
