CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Wilfred Henry Harback of Chatham passed away at the Meadow Park Nursing Home with his loving wife Cathy (Lachine) Harback by his side on Saturday July 20, 2019.  Wilf was born in London 85 years ago to the late Wilfred & Eileen Harback and will be remembered by his sister Janet Taylor, his brother Rick Harback, by his children Mary Sue, Rosemarie, Kathy, Wilfred and Jim, by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and by his sister & brother-in-law Lorrie & Ron Little.  He was predeceased by his mother & father-in-law Earnestine & Leao Lachine and by his brother & sister-in-law Jim & Linda Lachine.

Wilf was a good-natured man who worked at London Hoisery before taking a job in Security at the London Courthouse.  He and Cathy retired in Chatham where he enjoyed music, dancing, tennis and going for long walks.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take on August 14, 2019 at the Campbell AME Church (corner of King Street East and Prince Street in Chatham) at 3:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon.

Friends wishing to remember Wilf with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Alzheimers Day Program in Chatham, the Campbell AME Church Soup Kitchen or the Meadow Park Nursing Home Activity Music Program.

Cathy and families I'm so very sorry to hear about wilfred our hearts are broken we will miss seeing you guys at meadowpark in Chatham, our thoughts prayers hugs and condolences are sent to everyone rip wilfred

Thoughts and prayers are with you Cathy and family during your time of sorrow. Wilf will be missed. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. I will always treasure the memory of rolling down the hill at Kingston park with him.

R.i.p grandpa. You taught me what true love was. I never got to know you when I was little but I loved getting to know you. Even though you didn't know who I was you always hugged me close. I'll never forget you or the love you showed me. I will always love you and I know you're looking down on me ♡

prayers and thoughts are with you all . I will remember his laughter and sense of humour while we played tennis in 2014 with them all . he made us all laugh and he loved to help with campbells ame church for events . he is a good friend who i will always remember for rest of the my life and in our hearts. cathy if you need anything lets us know .. rip our sweet angel

Laurie Little we were saddened to hear of your brothers passing. He spent many memorable hours dancing and enjoying the musical events at Meadowpark. He always had a smile ans a hello for us when we went to visit Andy's mom at Meadowpark.
