Terry Douglas Sandford Linton of Blenheim passed away at home on Friday October 25, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born in Windsor 75 years ago to his late parents Mary Elizabeth (Cooper) and Hugh John Linton. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Caroline (Bland) Linton, by his son John of Amherstburg, daughter Anne and husband Marc Dean of Amherstburg and by his grandchildren Mac Dean and Molly Dean. Also survived by his brothers Paul & Joyce Linton of Windsor, Donn & Jean Linton of Leamington, sister-in-law Helen & the late Ken Linton (2007) of Oakville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill & Ellen Bland as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Terry owned several service centres in Windsor before purchasing the GM dealership in Blenheim. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Picton with family, friends and especially with his grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street in Blenheim on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 to show their support to Terry’s family. A Funeral Service will be held in the Blenheim United Church where Terry was a member on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Cook officiating. Friends wishing to remember Terry with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
