Sarah Jean Goulet passed away on Monday June 25, 2018, just three weeks before her 103rd birthday. Born in Harwich Township, daughter of the late Bruce & Lottie (Bayer) Snobelen, Jean will be missed by her two sons Robert Goulet (Paula) and Richard Goulet, by her grandchildren Ryan Goulet (Margaret), Mike Goulet (Christine), Paul Goulet (Beckie) and Sarah Oxner (Gary). Jean met the love of her life, Leo Goulet at a house party in Blenheim. They eloped in 1940 and spent 47 years together on their farm before Leo passed away in 1987. Jean loved everything about life on the farm and with the help of her sons she was able to stay at home until just a few months ago when she moved to the Village in Ridgetown.

Aside from her husband Leo, Jean was predeceased by her grandson James as well as her siblings and their spouses Mary & Charles Hebblethwaite, Edna & Raymond Mills, Morley & Jean Snobelen, Leslie & Velma Snobelen and Laverne “Bud” Willan.

Visitation for Jean will take place at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Bill Terris will take place on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Friends wishing to remember Jean with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Blenheim Seniors Centre.
