James Larry Cooper of Ridgetown, much loved husband of Anne-Marie passed away on Friday October 7, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Jim will be missed by his daughters Tanya Cooper, Debbie Leslie, Barbara Bowen and Lisa Cooper, by his grandchildren Mark and Joel Jackson, Ryan, Jason and Derek Leslie, Tiffany Bowen, Trina Kelly, by his great grandchildren Wyatt Bowen and Cameron Kelly, and by his sisters in law Dorothy and Carolyn Cooper. Predeceased by his brothers Dave and Jerry Cooper. Jim was born in Leamington and drove truck for Heinz and later Stockwell. He was a life member of the Rondeau Rod & Gun Club and the Wabash Gun Club. Friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show their support to the family on Saturday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Jim will be conducted in the Funeral Home on Sunday October 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Eileen Wright of Merlin passed away at Riverview Gardens on Friday September 30, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of 50 years to Murray Wright, mother of Jean & David Dawson of London and their children Christina, Jonathan and Joy, David Wright of Merlin and his daughter Ally and Paul & Trina Wright of Brampton and their children Michael and Laura. Eileen was predeceased by her infant son Dennis. Eileen will be remembered through her teaching days at S.S.#7 Raleigh School and Kent Centre School from 1953 – 1962. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas Edward and Elma Olive Corlett. Charles Joseph Remsik, beloved husband of Mary (Novosad) Remsik passed away at home on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Charlie and Mary, who celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year were blessed in life with two children; Ken & Donna Remsik of Shrewsbury and Brad & Barbara Remsik of Chatham as well as three grandchildren; Chris & Charlene Remsik with their children Joshua, Katie and Braden, Mike & Michelle Remsik with their children Kessa and Reina and Jenny Remsik & Chris Cooper with their children Samantha and Andrew. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Frances Remsik and by his sister Mary & Jim Gibson. Charlie farmed, drove truck and worked as a carpenter before his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 185 and gave generously of his time to St. Mary’s Church, enjoyed playing cards, dancing and going for drives. Friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show their support to the family on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Legion Service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be held on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Charlie will be held in St. Mary’s Church on Friday September 30, 2011 at 10 o’clock. Jesse Richard Nealey of Blenheim passed away in London on Saturday September 10, 2011 at the age of 14 years. Jesse is the much loved son of Annette and Billy Nealey and brother of Blake Nealey. He will be missed very much by his grandparents Barry & Sharon Cadotte and Rick Jamrozinski, his great grandparents Kacey & Jean Jamrozinski and Mary Jean Willett (Bonner), his Aunts and Uncles Krystal Manley, Melanie Nealey, Chris & Sherry Jamrozinski, Melissa & Rob Crevits and Terilyn & Jeremy Bourdeau as well as many great Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his Grampie Bill Nealey and Grandma Kathy Jamrozinski.

There are people you meet and who amaze you with the things they are able to accomplish in such a short time and Jesse was one of them. He graduated from St. Anne School in Blenheim in 2010 and was now attending Ursuline College Secondary School in Chatham in grade 10. For the last week he was involved in Lancer Link, mentoring a grade 9 student to become familiar and comfortable with the school. He was involved for many years with Youth Bowling in Blenheim, receiving many awards and the 291 Blenheim Bomber Squadron Cadets whom he was able to spend a week in England with just last year. Jesse was involved with the Lancer Football Team at UCC and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 185 Colour Guard. In his spare time he enjoyed playing guitar, watching NASCAR and riding his dirtbike.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show support to Jesse’s family on Tuesday September 13th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Jesse will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Blenheim on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Daniel Lloyd “Danny” McEachran of Blenheim passed away at his home on Saturday August 20, 2011 just nine days before his 67th birthday. Danny, the son of Rita McEachran of Blenheim and the late Lloyd McEachran was the loving father of three daughters; Michelle Henderson & Dan Haskell of Ingersoll, Melanie Groot of Kitchener and Kimberly VanHaren & Rob Young of Chatham. “Papa Danny” will be missed by Dylan, Kelsy, Makenzie, Ryder, Alisa, Liegh-Anna, Kara and Neven. Danny will also be missed by his siblings; Carol & Larry Armstrong of Chatham, Glen & Debbie McEachran of Chatham, Glenda McEachran of Blenheim, Allen & Kathy McEachran of Chatham, Mike McEachran & Barb Hassen of Blenheim and Terry McEachran of Chatham. He was predeceased by his baby brother Richard McEachran. Danny enjoyed quiet times in the garden and watching birds but most of all he enjoyed his children and his grandchildren. Friends will remember him from the days of working at Standard Tube in Blenheim and through his membership at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 185 in Blenheim. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show their support to the family on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Danny will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Nicol officiating. Following the service, Danny’s urn will be taken to Evergreen Cemetery and placed with his brother Richard.

Beverly Roy Guyett (65) of the Blenheim Community Village passed away on Thursday August 11, 2011. Born to his (late) parents Douglas and Edith Guyett on July 18, 1946. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Bev had a special place in his heart for animals. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Grace and Tom Tong, Ruth Walker and Cyril Roets, Dorothy and Rob Debiasi, Doreen and Pete Verhart and his brother George and Rose Guyett, also brother-in-laws Martin Beales and Tom Sarginson. Predeceased by sister Evelyn Morthier, Joyce Beales and Donna Sarginson, also by his brother-in-law Julien Morthier. He was a member of ARC Industries and Community Living. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Bev will be held on Monday August 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Susan Elizabeth “Suzie” Dulisch passed away at her home in Erie Beach on Wednesday August 10, 2011 at the age of 40 years. Daughter of the late Norma Jean (1973) and Anthony Dulisch (2005), Suzie will be missed greatly by her children Cassandra Naud and Mitchell Naud whom she loved unconditionally. Suzie will be missed dearly by her Mom Simone Labelle-Dulisch & Hugh of Chatham, and her sister Tammy & Gary Lubbers of Kent Bridge brothers Raymond Barnes & Tammy of Blenheim, Rick & Jen Dulisch of Blenheim, Lanny Metcalfe of London and Chuck Metcalfe & Lucy of London as well as several nieces and nephews. Suzie loved animals, had a large circle of friends and enjoyed time with her children. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from noon until 1:00 p.m. when a Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home by Rev. Leona Wright. Interment will take place in Mayhew-Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville where Suzie will be laid to rest with her Mom and Dad. William Maxwell “Max” Reynolds of Morpeth went to be with the Lord on Monday August 8, 2011 after a long battle with M.S. Max will be sorrowfully missed by his wife of 48 years Wilhelmina “Willy” Reynolds, their daughters Heather & Ben Butzer of Morpeth and Shannon Brown of Wallaceburg, by his much loved grandsons Jordan Attewell and Joel Attewell, by his brother Paul & Barbara Reynolds of Ridgetown and by brothers and sisters in law Margaret & Bill Vandenbrink, Helen & Jake Brink, Coby & Charles Tompkins, Joan & Tony Bouw, Betty & Murray Johnson and Carla & Ben Van Heeswyk. Max was predeceased by his parents Edrid (Maxwell) and William Reynolds.

Max was a kind and gentle person who had a great sense of humor. His contentment with life allowed him to see the beauty in all things and to accept the direction that God chose for him. Max loved a day of fishing as much as watching the birds come and go from his bird feeder but what he especially loved was to watch over and care for his family.

Acting as pallbearers will be Max’s grandsons Jordan and Joel Attewell, his brother in law Tony Bouw and his friends Walter Stirling, Bob Bayly and Jim Vidler.

Joan E. DeMaeyer, best friend and wife of Bev DeMaeyer passed away peacefully at their home in Blenheim on Thursday July 21, 2011 at the age of 62. Joan will be sorrowfully missed by her children Jo-Anne VanDyk, Michael DeMaeyer (Kerry) and Adam DeMaeyer (Lisa), by her grandchildren Geremy, Maxwell, Alexander, Zakery, Courtney, Nina and Keerstin, by her parents Helen and Lloyd Hazlett and by her siblings Linda Willimot, Tom Hazlett (Helen) and Karen Higgins (Rudy). She was predeceased by her brother Brian Hazlett in 1982 and by her brother in law Tom Willimot. Joan enjoyed reading, gardening and times spent with friends. Her true passion in life though was children. She loved her children, her grandchildren, her nieces and her nephews and all of the children at W.J. Baird Public School in Blenheim where she worked side by side with Bev as a custodian. Joan said that the best part of her job was the opportunity that it gave her to help children with their hats and boots, their winter coats and whatever else they needed her to do. She will be missed by many of her young friends there. Kenneth Junior Wilkins of Blenheim passed away surrounded by family at his home on Friday July 8, 2011. Born 81 years ago to the late Graham and Mildred Wilkins, Ken grew up on a farm near Aylmer. In 1953 he married Rose Chilcott and began a journey that would see almost 58 years. Together Ken & Rose raised their children Jeffrey & Diane Wilkins of Cedar Springs, David Wilkins & Kathleen Johnson of Rondeau, Sheri & Greg Huffman of Cedar Springs and Corey Wilkins of Blenheim. They were also blessed with five grandchildren Lisa, Jeremy, Matt, Andrea, Brandon and Sarah as well as four great grandchildren Austin, Ivory, Ethan and Willow. Ken will be missed by his siblings Robert & Elaine Wilkins, Ruth Nesbitt, Leone & Earl Prouse, Doreen Beard, Eleanor Fero and Lillian & Bob Knott. Ken loved to hunt and fish, he loved to square dance and go RV’ing across Canada and the States with Rose and he enjoyed all of the friends that they made during their years of owning the Silver Motel and finally working with the Beautician Supply Company until his retirement. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show their support to the family on Monday July 11, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Ken will be held in New Scotland United Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating. A private family interment will take place at Springfield Cemetery on Wednesday.
