William Maxwell “Max” Reynolds of Morpeth went to be with the Lord on Monday August 8, 2011 after a long battle with M.S. Max will be sorrowfully missed by his wife of 48 years Wilhelmina “Willy” Reynolds, their daughters Heather & Ben Butzer of Morpeth and Shannon Brown of Wallaceburg, by his much loved grandsons Jordan Attewell and Joel Attewell, by his brother Paul & Barbara Reynolds of Ridgetown and by brothers and sisters in law Margaret & Bill Vandenbrink, Helen & Jake Brink, Coby & Charles Tompkins, Joan & Tony Bouw, Betty & Murray Johnson and Carla & Ben Van Heeswyk. Max was predeceased by his parents Edrid (Maxwell) and William Reynolds.

Max was a kind and gentle person who had a great sense of humor. His contentment with life allowed him to see the beauty in all things and to accept the direction that God chose for him. Max loved a day of fishing as much as watching the birds come and go from his bird feeder but what he especially loved was to watch over and care for his family.

Friends are invited to gather at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home to show their support on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Max, officiated by Pastor Ken Powell will be held in Glad Tidings Community Church, Blenheim on Thursday August 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Morpeth Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers will be Max’s grandsons Jordan and Joel Attewell, his brother in law Tony Bouw and his friends Walter Stirling, Bob Bayly and Jim Vidler.

Friends wishing to remember Max with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Chatham-Kent Multiple Sclerosis Society.
