No words can express the many thoughts that come to mind in the many years of childhood friendship. Joannie Catheleen Wonnacott (Cathy Leatherdale)

Dear Carrie and all of your family, We were so sorry to hear of Marsha’s passing. Mom was just across the hall from Marsha for several years at the Village. There was a comfortable familiarity for all of us as our families spent many years together at Emmanuel Congregational Church. We will certainly miss seeing her when we visit the Village. As you navigate through this difficult time, may it somehow help to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. With sincere sympathy, The Muehmers, Marlies, Ralph and Monica (Robertson)

I knew Marsha from when I worked in the front office at the Village. Marsha would come up to visit with me on my shift and I would say "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha" and she would just laugh at me and say "yes". She always had a smile on her face and was happy to just sit and watch me work. One of her favourite replies to me when I said "Well" was "if you turn it sideways, it's a tunnel". She will be missed, but I will always cherish the memories that we created while I was at the Village. Rest in peace Marsha!

Rest in Peace, Marsha. Rosemary and Craig

Carrie, Ron and family - Please accept our sincere sympathy in the passing of Marsha, our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this difficult time. May the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days to come. We remember her from Emmanuel Congregational Church and saw her often when she was out walking when she lived at The Village.

She loved to play euchre and making me laugh. You will always be in my heart!! My sister from another mother

Our heartfelt condolences to Carrie and family on the passing of Marsha. We enjoyed a very close relationship with the entire Shelp family. I (Barry) had the privilege of conducting the funeral services for Everett. Doris, and Marie. Now retired in Nova Scotia, we will unfortunately not be able to be present at Marsha's committal. Yet our hearts and prayers are with you.
