It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Lottie Grant who passed away at the University Hospital in London on February 17, 2023 at the age of 79.  Marie was the beloved wife of Bob Grant and the late Ronald ‘Albert’ Ramsden Jr.  She was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Stothart (nee Panter).  Loving mother to Betty (Ken) Owen, Cindy (Mike) Vince, Jeannie Ramsden (Barry Sylvester) and Bob’s children.  Grandmother to Bev Ellis, Tabatha (Carl) Emmott, Brandon (Katie) Owen, Amanda Legroulx, Ruth Coutlee, Sarah Coutlee, Tim (Dyan) Sylvester, and 8 great grandchildren.  She was the sister to Jean (late Ken) Shoemaker, Isabell (Dawn) McAuley, Bert (late Nancy) Stothart and and predeceased by Eleanor (Wayne) Heil, and Frank (Fran) Stothart.  Marie’s family meant everything to her and she loved being informed what was going on in all their lives.  She also enjoyed volunteering in various fundraisers which were important to her.  She loved to crochet and made blankets for all her grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, listening to country music, dancing, and having a coffee with her friends.  Visitation will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley St. in Blenheim on Tuesday February 21 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm at which time a service will be held with Rev.
