  • Rest in Peace Louella. ❤️ to a specially loved John Street neighbor! You outlived your entire street of neighboring friends with such grace and admiration! Everyone has their memories of Louella from 7pm bedtime snack of oatmeal butter and b sugar after a big neighborhood play, her little feet in steleto shoes that no 1 fit into!! Such charm and love for life!! Rest in Peace Loella, you were loved by all!
  • We are sorry to hear of Louella's passing. She was a sweet little lady with style and grace.
  • Our condolences to the Lindsay family. Louella was a lovely lady. I remember playing charades on the front porch of the Lindsay home over 60 years (1960's) ago. Also crazy ball hockey with a bunch of kids in the empty basement. Husband Max was one of the funniest guys I ever met. Great memories to be cherished forever.
  • Bob,
I am sorry to hear of Louella’s passing. I can remember first meeting her and Max back in 1969 and thinking what a lovely sister you had. Sincere condolences to you and her family.

  • My deepest condolences to all of the Lindsay family. She was like family to Zac, Caitlin and myself. She won't be forgotten.
  • Deepest Sympathy to the entire family,
Visiting with Louella and Bruce, enjoying a coffee and listening to her favorite songs made her very happy as she worked hard preparing the perfect outfit and heels for the next day. She should have been a fashion model, all four feet on high heels. She wore one earring, her birthday necklace and looked and felt like a million bucks. Louella loved the fact she could look out the window and know the family were just steps away. She was always happy playing bridge at the Senior center.
Your memories of mom will turn tears to joy,
    Janet Kempe

  • Louella was my second mom when I, and her son Bruce , were up to no good,. I always appreciated her care, non-judgemental approach and her love. She had a lovely spirit. My heart goes out to the whole (huge) Lindsay family. It's been a long while but I will always remember with fondness the time I was a part of the Lindsay extended clan. Thoughts especially out to Bruce and John.
