Henry and family I am truly at a loss for words. My husband Jerry was hospital roommates with her. On July 1st. I lost my love. Funeral Visitation was on the 6th and on the 8th you lost your love too. It's been a grief stricken week, my heart was broken in 2 , but now another piece has broken. Lesa was so kind abd beautiful. Her and Jerry hit it off as roommates sharing much in common with their illness but still managing to get some " digs" in with each other. Like the time she threatened to throw her water bottle over the curtain , had it not been for the mesh top to stop it. She was being so strong , she still had dreams of doing her kitchen renovation. This lady touched my heart, touched ours. We exchanged cell #'s she'd let me know in the morning if Jerry had a restless or quiet night , all the while she was in the " same boat. " Worried more about Henry and her family than her self. In such a short time I adored her. Told her she looked like a Model, lovely. I was so looking forward to keeping in contact with her following her journey and offering support, even though my husband fought the battle too for 3 years and his journey came to an abrupt halt. After a week of the saddest day of my life and now being Sunday a day of rest I was planning my first day of taking abit of a breather". On my list of things to do though was to touch base with Lesa and see how she was. However Grief stricken news came when I heard the news of her passing from one of her Ole mutual friends Mary Bogaert. Anyway my message to her never happened or never will. Cherish her memory, trust me it will hurt alot but that's not neccesarily a bad thing , It only hurts because she was so awesome and loved so much as my Jerry was too .
