Leora is survived by her sisters Blanche Burke (late Frank) and Shirley Green (late Jim) and her sister-in-law Elsey (Rodwell) Martin (late Albert).  She was predeceased by her siblings Jean & Byron Tole, John & Doris Ward, Sidney & Jackie Ward, Earl & Loretta (Foulis) Ward and Raeburn Ward, as well as her sister-in-law Jean (Rodwell) & Ken Little.

Always a Blenheim girl, Leora worked at various retail shops but was primarily a homemaker who took pride in the home that she and Clarence created.  She was a kind and caring lady who was loved by everyone.

I had the privilege of caring for Leora and her husband at the Retirement Home. Leora was an example of overcoming difficulties in her life in her later years. She was a strong woman. My condolences to her family.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mrs. Rodwell. 102 years is an incredible achievement! We have a multitude of memories of both her and Clarence since we were next door neighbours on Little Street for many years. Then when our Dad also moved to the Blenheim Community Village, I would pop by to say hello to Leora whenever I was back in town and we would enjoy reminiscing together. Will always remember her with good thoughts. Val, Staff and Doug Johnston
