June Doris Shaw

June Doris Shaw passed away at the Meadow Park Nursing Home on Monday February 21, 2011 at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her children Barb & Duncan Pickering of Blenheim, Pam Beattie of Calgary, Diane & Omer Reaume and Gary & Cindy Donais of Tilbury, her sister Betty Davidson of Tilbury and her brothers in law Gord Jeffery of Chatham and Glen Gryp. June will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Marjorie & Murray Willan, Dorothy & Edmond Duyck, Bonnie Jeffery and Doreen Gryp, by her brother Harrlow Shaw and by her brother in law Arnold Davidson. June was a long time employee of Thamesview Lodge in Chatham. She will be remembered for her keen sense of fashion, her love of travelling and most importantly for her ability to remain so positive as she dealt with challenges in her life. Visitation for June will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street in Blenheim on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday February 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating. Interment in Merlin Cemetery. Friends wishing to remember June with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.
