Gerald Pickering

Gerald Ross Pickering of Blenheim passed away on Monday June 13, 2011. Gerald was born 74 years ago to his late parents Carl and Jessie (Jackson) Pickering. He is the last surviving member of his family being predeceased by his brothers Glen & Barb Pickering, Elmer & Jean Pickering, Melvin Pickering, Norman & Jacqeline Pickering and Ray Pickering. Gerald is survived by his sister in law Edith Pickering Durfy of Blenheim and by many nieces and nephews. Friends will remember Gerald from his many years of working at International Harvester in Chatham, his love of bowling and for his daily treks to the Blenheim Family Café. Friends and family will be received at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Gerald will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday June 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Friends wishing to remember Gerald with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Cancer Society or the Blenheim Youth Centre.
