Elizabeth “Jane” Osborne

Elizabeth “Jane” Osborne of Erieau passed away at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Friday May 7, 2010. Jane was born sixty years ago to her late parents Ken and Marguerite (Walker) Holdaway. She is the dear wife of Jack Osborne of Erieau, loving mother of Rod & Diane Butler of Blenheim and the very devoted Grandmother of Gage, Avery and Griffin Butler. Jane was one of three children and shared her childhood with her brother George Holdaway who passed away on March 22, 2009 and her sister Dianne Fleming of Leamington. Friends will remember Jane through her many years of working at Southwestern Regional Centre and through her involvement with the Ladies Auxiliary at the Blenheim Legion. Jack, Rod and Diane invite family and friends to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday May 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Jane will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday May 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date. One of Jane’s greatest concerns in life was to leave the world a better place for children, including her grandchildren. In keeping with that, it was her preference that friends wishing to remember her would consider making a donation to Kenesserie Camp instead of sending flowers.
