Edith Pearl Armstrong passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday January 26, 2022, on her birthday, at the age of 102. Edith was the daughter of the late Samuel and Bertha McKibbon. Loving mother to Roy (Linda) Armstrong of Merlin. Grandmother to Dawn VanDyk (Brad Kenny), Shawn Armstrong, and great grandmother to Mitchell VanDyk and Keiera VanDyk (Dylan). Edith will be remembered for her love of baking, sewing, quilting, helping on the farm (especially caring for her chickens and ducks), and her involvement at the Blenheim Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at the Merlin Cemetery at a later date. Our condolences to the family. Aunt Edith was a wonderful lady. I remember visiting their home many times when I was a child. She always had a fresh baked treat for us. Elderberry Pie was my favorite. We would help her gather eggs and feed the chickens. Wonderful memories of her to cherish..

Dear Roy Linda and family. Helene and I are sorry to hear of your mum"s passing. It was always amazing how she could remember names of people . We would meet in WalMart and she always knew us and Helene in particular thought she had an amazing ability since she probably was 90 when they first met!
