Visitation:

Blenheim Community Funeral Home
Sunday February 5, 2023
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christena Osborne, who passed away Sunday, January 29, at the age of 66.  Chris, or Tenie to her family, was the daughter of the late Genevieve Doris Odber and Charles Harold Osborne of Sudbury, Ontario; loving mother of sons Nicholas Osborne and Michael Lee-Hooper, stepson Jeff Lucier, and stepdaughter, Lori Lucier.

Chris was predeceased by her Love Bug, Larry Lucier of Chatham, Ontario, though they were never really parted, and her brother, Stephen Osborne of Red Deer, Alberta.

She leaves behind her sister, Bonnie Zeigler, and brother-in-law Mark Zeigler, and grandchildren, Tiffany, Spencer, Miranda, Avery, Maeve, Maddie, Alex, and Benjamin, all of whom she loved dearly.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jorja.

She is deeply missed by her dear friends Sandra Ellison, Edna Jones, Kenny Jones, Dawn Lucier, Norm and Cindy Dunlop, Cathy Earle, Marilee Travene, Merri Lee North, Nancy Ball, Lisa Frasier, Jane Goodall Pretty, Heather Shill, and by her cousins Brent Osborne, Maureen Beaton, and Brenda Hurley, and too many others to list.

She will always be remembered for her gregarious nature, her enthusiasm for helping anyone and everyone in need, and the sheer mass of knitting she produced these past years.

The hole she leaves with her passing will never be filled.

Visitation for Christena will be at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, at 60 Stanley Street in Blenheim on February 5th from 1pm-5pm

To Tenie's family and friends, please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of Tenie. We first met Tenie when she came to stay with her uncle Mitch. We often looked after Chopper for Mitch and June, and then when her Aunt and Uncle passed on she took Chopper home with her. We kept in touch with pictures of him and his antics and private messaged often. May all your memories of Christeena help you all through this difficult time. We will miss her, as will all of you. Jim and Margaret Hiddleston of Bruce Mines, Ontario.

Nick & Michael and families, I am deeply sorry for your loss. May you find strength to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.
