Visitation:

There will be no Funeral Home visitation.

Charlaine Gail Meredith, much loved wife of James Sr passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2018.  She was 60 years old.  She will be remembered with great fondness by her sons Alan Meredith (Samantha) and James Meredith Jr (Bella) and by Jamie’s daughters Amy Meredith (Boomer) and Chrystal Wilson (Meredith). Charlaine was an awesome and unique Grandma to her eight grandchildren; Ty, Makenzie, Daytona, Bailey, Bella, Brayden, Jude and Paislee…they were her pride and joy.

Born in Chatham to the late Leo & Winnifred (Moore) Couture, Charlaine was one of five children and is survived by her sisters Joy Nead (Mike) and Cindy Kempe (Fred), and by her brother Jamie Couture. Predeceased by sister Coral and brother Lee. She will be missed by Jamie’s siblings Janice Graham, Wanda Meredith and Sly Meredith as well as many nieces and nephews. Charlaine always appreciated the company of her good friends Bonnie and Gary and the long walks and talks that she had with Bonnie over the years.

Charlaine was as a kind and caring person who constantly put the needs of others first.  She worked hard to make the world a better place whether it was creating a new garden, taking care of animals (she loved her two cats) or showing persistence and determination to accomplish her goals, AKA she was very stubborn in all the great ways necessary.  Her kind ways and values will live on in her children and grandchildren who she taught well.  In that sense she will never be forgotten.

Charlaine’s wishes with regard to this stage of life were very definite.  There will be no Funeral Home visitation or funeral.
