Carl Newton

Newton, Carl Douglas from Blenheim formerly of Barrie, Ontario passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the age of 78. Predeceased by Judy (2000) and Joan (2010). Proud Father to Lynne Broadbent, son in law Kelly Broadbent, Grandson Jamie (his pride and joy), Trixie, children Doug (Nancy), Craig (A.J.), Sean and grandchildren Ben, Eric, Brittney, Chad, Lucas, Bailey, Leesa, Corey, Josh and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his companion Viola Barnwell, his toy schnauzer Maxi, extended family and friends. Carl was actively involved in the Lions Club for over 40+ years and also with the Blenheim Rotary. Friends and family will be received at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home at 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim Ontario 519-676-9200 on Friday October 11, 2013. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm and Service 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the OSPCA would be appreciated.
