Abe
Nauta passed away on October 26, 2013 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 58 years to Hilda Nauta. Loving father of Ida & Harold Vyn, Jake & Patti Nauta, Gary & Jackie Nauta, Wendy & Dave Feddes, Susan & John Marentette, Rhonda & Rob Burns, 27 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one infant granddaughter. Also survived by brothers & sisters Ronnie & John Timmermans, Joan & Gus Sonneveld, John & Hermina Nauta, Ralph & Margaret Nauta, Hilda & Pete Berghuis, Catherine Verbeek, Clara & Hank Woudenberg and Ruth Oden, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marie Nauta, Lise Nauta, Eppe & Annie Veenstra, Martin & Thea Veenstra, Mike & Jean Veenstra, Henry and Catherine Veenstra. Susan Cotè, Carl & Sue Veenstra and numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his sister Diane Gracie, brothers Harry, Dick and Jake, by 4 brothers in the
Netherlands and by his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Hunter Oden, Gerry Gracie, Marius Verbeek, Steve & Joyce Veenstra, Frank Veenstra and Phil Cotè. Visitation will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Monday October 28, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Abe will be held in the Christian Reformed Church, Blenheim on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Pardoville-Union Cemetery. Friends wishing to remember Abe with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Chatham Christian School or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
