John Steen of Blenheim passed away at home on December 31, 2018 just one day after his 70th birthday. John was born in Chatham. He was predeceased by his father James Steen, his mother, the late June Manninger (McEachran) and his step father Joe Manninger. He was also predeceased by his grandparents Reg & Alice McEachran. John is survived by his daughters Lori and Denise, his siblings Gail Steen, Mary Louise Clark, Linda & Russel Hillman, Greg & Diane Steen and their families as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.

In life, John preferred things to be uncomplicated. In extending that tradition, it was his wish that cremation would take place and that his family would remember him privately.
