Rosemary Robinson

Rosemary “Rosie” Robinson of Blenheim passed away at home on Saturday March 29, 2014. Born in Cedar Springs 74 years ago to the late Helen (Huffman) and Tom Attewell, Rosemary met “the bosses son” when she worked at Robinson Hardware in Blenheim and fell in love. Rosemary and Brock Robinson married in 1962 and raised two children, Kelly Ann Robinson who now lives in Azilda Ontario and Darrin Robinson who now lives in Chelmsford, Ontario. Rosemary adored her grandchildren Chase Robinson, Matthew Greening and Lindsay Hanthorn and was blessed with one great-grandchild Sebastian Greening.

Rosemary was one of seven children in her family. She is survived by Beverly & Ron O’Phee, Sandra Gardiner, Nancy McCorkell and Tom & Gail Attewell as well as her sister-in-law Jan Attewell. She was predeceased by Sharon & George Faflak, Bud Attewell, Bob Gardiner and Bruce McCorkell.

Rosemary was an outdoor enthusiast who especially enjoyed snowmobiling, playing hockey, fastball and golf. Her indoor passions included dancing, having her house filled with her childrens friends and watching the Ellen Degeneres show on television.

Family and friends are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Thursday April 3, 2014 for visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. A Funeral Service conducted by Rev. Bill Terris will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends wishing to remember Rosemary with a memorial donation are asked to consider Lung Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
