Margaret Mallory passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Monday October 31, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Marg was one of three children born to the late Thomas & Bonita Pegg and is survived by her sisters Fran Wood (late Gerry) and Ruth Rymerson (Verle) both of Ottawa. On September 19, 1943 Marg married the love of her life Frank Wilson Mallory and began a journey that would span over 69 years when Frank passed away in 2012. Together Marg and Frank worked hard to make Mallory Industries in Blenheim the successful business that it was. They also raised two sons George & Roberta Mallory and William & Christina Mallory. Soon their family grew to include four grandchildren Matthew Mallory (Lisa), Aaron Mallory (Jessica), Heather Kelly (Jay) and Stacey Hems (Mike). Marg was proud of her great-grandchildren Logan Hems, Owen Hems, Nolan Mallory, Kaitlyn Kelly and her step great-granddaughter Savanah Dillon. She will be remembered fondly by her brother-in-law Raeburn Mallory and was predeceased in life by Bessie Mallory and Mary (Mallory) & Carl Doey.

Marg was a member of the Blenheim United Church where she sang faithfully every Sunday in the Church Choir. She was also a member of the Sweet Adeline’s Choral Group in Chatham and a Rotary Ann. In her spare time she loved to knit, sew and spend time with her family.

It was Marg’s wish that this time be regarded with quiet dignity. A private family service will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends wishing to remember Marg with a memorial donation are asked to consider a charity of your own choice.

Condolences

George & Bill and Family, I had the pleasure of spending many hours every two years on Snow Ave in the garage and the kitchen. We were getting ready for the Rotary Auction and your parents allowed us to use their garage as a staging area. When I think about it, I think they may have enjoyed getting a preview of the auction. But I know I enjoyed your dad and Pegg discussing not only the auction, but the people around Blenheim, your mother had a wonderful memory for names and who was related to who, even the people in my area of Charing Cross and Cedar Springs. It was privilege and honour to know both of them.

Dot and I were saddened to learn of Marg's passing. AS minister of Blenheim United Church 1979- 1991 we fondly remember Marg & Frank's faithful participation in the life and work of the congregation; especially Marg's weekly contribution to the choir with her alto voice; also her music ministry with the "other" Marg (Gosselin) for all the nursing homes services in the area. Our sincere sympathy to all of Marg's family.

Bill, Chris, George, Robbie and families - We are so sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of being in Margaret's company during family celebrations with Heather, Jay and Kaitlyn and we will always remember her as a sweet, kind and gentle soul. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you, as you say goodbye and celebrate her life today.

Please accept our condolences on the passing of dear, Margaret. She and Frank were a loving, caring, sincere couple who we were privileged to have met through Rotary. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Joe and Sue
