John Charles Rance of Blenheim passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday November 1, 2015 at the age of 65 years. John was one of three sons born to the late Thomas & Marjorie (Snow) Rance. He is survived by his brothers Tom & Brenda Rance of Blenheim and Mark & Pearl Rance of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also survived by his nephews Greg & Terri Rance of London and Scott Rance of Blenheim.
John spent most of his childhood in Blenheim, attending WJ Baird Public School and Blenheim District High School before moving to London where he attended Oakridge Secondary School and Fanshawe College where he studied electronics. He worked for a time at McCormicks in London before he returned to Blenheim and worked at Glazier Canners. He was a loyal customer of Home Run Restaurant in Blenheim.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Home visitation. A private family service will be held. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Friends wishing to remember John with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Cancer Society.
