Yvette Bourbonnais

A photo of Yvette Bourbonnais

Yvette Bourbonnais (Fuerth) of Windsor passed away July 16, 2022 following a short illness.  Yvette was the daughter of Rene and Loma (Penny) Bourbonnais, step daughter of Roger Maurice. She was the spirited sister of the late Michel (2021), Yvon and Marjorie, Denis and Barb, Collette and Gary, Paul, as well as Roger’s family.

Yvette was abundantly proud of her two daughters, Vanessa and Natalie Fuerth.

Yvette was passionate about many things in life. One being a teacher where she would encourage and inspire children to learn and grow.  Yvette also loved cats, crafting, angels and butterflies.

The family will remember Yvette privately, but if you would like to honour her, go read a book to a child, visit someone who needs a friend, or donate to the OSPCA http://ontariospca.ca/

She will be missed by her family.

We are so thankful to the Hotel Dieu ICU team and the doctors and nurses on 6 West for their wise and compassionate care of Yvette.  We are also grateful for her attentive neighbours as well as the Blenheim Community Funeral Home for their personal assistance.

Condolences

I am so saddened to lose Yvette as a friend and neighbour. We lived across the street from each other and became friends during the couple of years she lived here. She initiated the reciprocal act of sharing our prepared food with each other. She was a loving and generous soul and I liked her very much. I've been missing her presence in the neighbourhood ever since she became ill. Rest in peace, dear Yvette.

Mes plus sincères condoléances. Yvette était toujours souriante et pleine d’énergie. Une très gentille personne. Qu’elle repose en paix. ♥️

Denis & Barb - praying that the Lord's peace and comfort will flood over you and your family. Sorry for your loss. Love, Carmen

Very sad to hear of the passing of Aunt Yvette. I will always remember my younger years with her when we all visited Story Book Gardens together - she was a very loving aunt with a vivacious personality. Very creative and fun loving. May you Rest In Peace, Aunt Yvette, and may perpetual light shine upon you always.

Prières offertes aux membres de la famille d’Yvette. Mes souvenirs d’Yvette comme camarade de classe à l’école St. Edmond étaient d’une jeune fille à l’esprit doux et sincère.

We didn’t get to see her much, it’s unfortunate we lived so far apart. We have wonderful memories when we did spend time together. She loved seeing how the kids had grown. Rest in sweetest peace Yvette.
