It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucia (Lucy) Edmunds.

Lucia was born in Santa Barbara, Panay, Philippines, and built a beautiful life marked by kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert, her son Michael, his wife Mylene, and her cherished grandchildren Olivia  and Samuel.

Lucia’s warmth extended to everyone she met. She loved to travel, discovering new places and cultures with curiosity and joy. At home, she found happiness in gardening, tending to the plants that reflected her care and patience.

Her faith was a constant source of guidance and peace throughout her life. She lived with gratitude, humility and a deep trust in God’s presence.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity and grace that will bloom in the hearts of all knew her.

  • Dear Robert , Michael and family
Our deepest condolences go out to your family hearing the sad news. I worked with Lucy but not in same department. We met for coffee through a mutual friend. I always admired her wisdom and wide range of knowledge about all things. She was a strong woman right to the end. I cherished the times you and Lucy came to visit Toronto giving us all an excuse to go for a foodfest. She will truly be missed. May you find comfort knowing she is now in a better place - in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
    Praying for the family
    Judy (&Danny )
  • Dear Robert and Michael, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.

For the last 35 years, I had the privilege of calling Lucy, my best friend. We enjoyed spending wonderful time together. Our friendship was bonded through laughter, tears, and adventures. Lucy was more than a companion; Lucy was my sister. Lucy was a kind-hearted lady, and she always supported me. My friendship with Lucy was one of my life’s greatest gifts. I always referred Lucy as a walking encyclopedia. I sought her opinions on all things. We talked about everything under the sun. Lucy’s most passionate topic was religion. She always reminded me the true purpose in life was to follow Christ.

Lucy, my dear friend, rest peacefully. You are deeply missed and forever remembered.
  • My condolences to the Edmunds family. Although Lucy had many wonderful attributes, the thing that I will remember most is her classiness. She was always so composed, respectful and considerate of others.
May Lucy rest in peace and may her teachings and influence live on through her family and friends.
