John William Nealey Jr. passed away in London on Friday September 3, 2021 at the age of 55 years.  Born in Oshawa, John was the son of Linda & the late John Nealey Sr. and is survived by his brothers Glen and Len Nealey of Chatham.

John was a lifetime fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.  He attended school in Blenheim at Harwich-Raleigh Public School and Blenheim District High School before taking a job at Canadian Tire.   A car accident in 2003 left him with a lifetime of challenges but through it all he always remained a gentleman who was easy going and who appreciated the people around him.

Visitation for John will be held at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Friday September 10, 2021 from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.  A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:30 in the Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends wishing to attend the visitation or Funeral Service are asked to call the Funeral Home at 519-676-9200 as attendance is limited.  Face coverings are required to be worn in the Funeral Home.

Condolences

I want to offer my condolences to the family and thank you for sharing John for many years at Abundant Life Church. As his Lead Pastor for many years, we always enjoyed having John come, worship and offer some good humour with us all. He was so delightful. My best memory, baptising him in water. Today, I have hope to see John again and he is at peace. May God bless you all.

I will miss John’s smile and enthusiasm at church. May God’s peace comfort his family and friends during this difficult time.

I want to offer my sympathies to John's family. I worshipped with John over the past 7 years. He was a gentleman and was always kind. I admired him as a Godly man who loved Jesus. I will see him again one day in our forever home in heaven. I pray that God's peace will bless you as you carry on in his absence. 🙏

We just loved having John attend our Abundant Life Church in London. He was so full of life when the music started! He bounced and clapped and sang. I loved his artwork, his stories and time he brought Pastor Bill a pizza on Sunday morning! What a great sense of humor! He will be missed by us all.

Linda, Len and Glenn Sending our deepest condolences in the passing of John Jr. May he peacefully rest and deal with no more challenging health issues. 🙏. Charlie and Barb
