James Hart of Morpeth, husband of the late Nancy (Uhrik) Hart passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021 just three days after his 72nd birthday.  Born in Scotland, the son of the late Janet & Robert Hart, Jim is survived by his only brother William Hart (Karen) of Windsor.  He will be remembered by his nephews Randy Doyle and Stephen Doyle as well as his nieces Brody Hart and Ashley Hart.

Friends will remember Jim from his many years of work at the University of Windsor and his involvement with the union.  He was a kind and loving uncle who spent every Saturday night watching the Toronto Maple Leafs.  He was a talented artist and enjoyed painting in his spare time.

A graveside service will be held at Morpeth Cemetery on Wednesday September 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Terris officiating.

Friends wishing to remember Jim with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Food Bank through the Salvation Army.

Condolences

Dear friends: I only knew Jim for a while but he was always very generous with both his artwork and his time. He made a nice lunch for us probably 10 years. Anyway, I just wanted to send my condolences to the family. Casey Huisman, Ridgetown

So shocked to hear this! Jimmy was my friend and partner at work for several years. Everything I learned about unions I owe to him. My sincere condolences to his family.

Deeply sadden to hear of Jim's passing. I worked in the law school as a professor during the years that Jim worked at the university. I we'll recall having many pleasant conversations with him about the university, his union activities and life in general. He was a person that always had a smile and one you could enjoy a joke with. Truly sadden to hear that he has passed at such an early age. Just as well that he took retirement and got to do things that he enjoyed with the ones he loved. Thinking of Jim as a write.
