A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

AN OPEN HOUSE TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF EVA WILL BE HELD AT THE DEMBINSKI FARM 18528 FARGO ROAD, BLENHEIM ON NOVEMBER 2, 2019 FROM 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.  CASUAL DRESS…

Eva Dembinski passed away at home on Friday September 27, 2019. Eva and her husband Kris were both born in Poland. After moving to Canada they made Shrewsbury their home and began a family. To say that Eva was a proud parent would be an understatement. Her daughter Barbara Dembinski and her son Robert Dembinski with his wife Kristine were never far from her thoughts and always in her heart, just as her grandchildren Conor and Carter Dembinski and Nicholas and Zachary Bickford were. She will be missed by her sisters Basia Rembiesa and Margaret Kurzyldo and especially by her German Shepherd dog Sophie. Eva was predeceased by her parents Hanna & Jerzy Weyers.

Eva was a kind and caring soul who dedicated many years to helping others at Southwestern Regional Centre. She was an advocate for those who were less fortunate. She enjoyed her home in Shrewsbury, she believed that a girl could never have too much jewelry to choose from, and she believed that time spent with family and friends was time that was never lost. Eva stopped celebrating birthdays and started celebrating anniversaries of her 29th birthday which in her mind made her forever young. She will be forever loved and missed.

  • Dear family! I regret I haven't had the possibility to know her better but I know she was a great sister for my mother and a wonderful daughter to our grandma.
She was also my godmother and even far from Poland, she was always present with her thoughts and funny cards in all important events in my life. I liked much her funny stories and love advices given me by phone during my teenages. I have a great memories of her stays in Poland. I will miss her

  • Wójek, Barb, Rob and Dembinski family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I will forever have fond memories of ciocia Ewa. You guys took us in, took care of us and introduced us to life in Canada when we first arrived in this country 30 years ago this past spring.
Ciocia was eccentric, funny, easy going.
As a 9 year old boy at the time I just thought she was really cool.
That first summer I busted my knee really badly and ciocia took care of it and mended it and made me laugh even though it hurt really badly. 30 years later I still have the scar and I think of her every day when I see it and am forever greatfull for taking care of me.
Some of my greatest childhood memories are of the time I spent with her and wójek.
    I will miss her.
  • Great soul and influence. Always remember my time at the farm with Eva and Chris.
