With completely broken hearts we share the very sudden passing of an incredible man at just 51 years young. Warren Gowman was a completely devoted husband who adored the love of his life and best friend, Andrea (Verstraete) with whom he would have celebrated 14 years of marriage this weekend.

Besides being an amazing husband, Warren’s purpose in life was found when he became an incredible father to Kambri-Anne, his pride and joy who is just weeks from her 13th birthday. Kambri worshiped her dad and the bond that they shared will be forever imprinted in her heart. She was the light of his life.

Warren was the very proud son of Richard Gowman (Colleen Gransden-Gowman & daughter Meghan,) and Carolyn Cockerton (Dan). He was beyond adored by his two sisters Sherri Gowman (Scott Wilcox) and Marcie Gowman (Brian Levant).   The incredible love and closeness that he shared with his family will live on in their memories. He is survived by his dearest mother-in-law Marilyn Verstraete who he loved for her family devotion. Marilyn was always just steps away and valiantly tried to help Warren in his final moments. He was the son-in-law of Jim Verstraete, brother-in-law of Stephanie Segeren, brother-in-law and dear friend of Don Segeren and dear friend of Jim & Jenni Donohoo, all of whom he enjoyed many meals and laughs with.

Warren was an incredible role model and loved Uncle to heartbroken Blake Gowman-Donohoo, Kary Donohoo, Maddison Segeren and Braydon Segeren. He made a lifelong impression to them by always being what they needed him to be, showing them great love, leadership, and endless wit and humour. He is survived also by Adam Gowman and many extended Verstraete family members. He will be especially missed by his Burrows family: Mrs. B, John, Karrie and Gracelyn.

Warren was an incredible asset, leader and role model for many years in his careers with McKesson Canada, Jamieson and Accucaps where he shared his talent and strong work ethic. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, golfing with friends, cooking and completely devoting his life to his family. Anyone who had the privilege of spending time with him quickly appreciated his incredible wit, sense of humour and intelligence. He was a source of strength, support and loyalty to many friends.

As a family, we will always treasure the last Christmas we celebrated together and the laughs and smiles that it brought. Now we comfort each other in our incredible grief, share our common love and vow to continue the imprint that Warren’s life made on all of us. With all of our love until we meet again….

Friends and family are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Tim Joyce will take place at the Funeral Home on Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Anyone who wishes to remember Warren with a memorial donation is asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

We are so very saddened when mom told us the news of Warren. I know there is nothing I can say to help you and Kambri through this difficult time. Please know that you are all in our hearts and prayers Andrea. We love you and hope you will think on and cherish the great times you have made as a family. Rest In Peace Warren.

I did not know Warren for very long and the time I spent in his company was always under the most pleasant of circumstances. Thankfully I had the opportunity to know what a fantastic guy he was and be proud to call him a friend. Sadly I can also acknowledge what a devastating loss his passing will represent to his family and close friends, he was truly a great person. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Andrea and Kambri, I am so sad to hear of your sudden loss . I had the privilege of working with Warren and have the fondest memories of him and his very sarcastic sense of humour. He will truly be missed and remembered always. My deepest and sincerest condolences to you, your family and, friends. -Mickey (McKesson)

My heartfelt sympathies to Andrea, and Kambri-Anne, on the loss of a loving Husband and Father. I had the privilege of working for Warren as my boss at McKesson Canada for nearly 8 years. He was a great boss who had a "people person" side to him as well. I remember having conversations with him and he would mention his family and I could see his smile on his face as he talked about "his girls" and how much he loved them. I know that your hearts are heavy and sad right now like a lot of us, but as time goes on remember the memories that you always shared, and hold firm to these memories. It is these memories and the laughter that when you think of the happy times that will help you through this difficult time. I want you both to know that he will be missed by many who's lives he touched in our McKesson family. Although I am not able to make it to the visitation or service tomorrow my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. God Bless you all over these next few days, and weeks. Peggy

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Warren face to face once only, but had many friendly waves as he met Kambri at the bus. Your bus driver, Jean

Andrea and Kambri My Condoloences to you both, you are in my thoughts and prayers

My condolences goes out to his wife and daughter and family. I had the privilege to work for Warren (McKesson) a wonderful man. You will be greatly miss.

From the residents of the the old school house across the road from you. We are the people with the little Jack Russel that likes your little dog. I was impressed on how your husband dealt with the old man that ran over your garbage can, I went running out because I thought he had maybe had a heart attack but the man said no he had fell asleep. He was so upset about wrecking your garbage can and your husband just talked to him quietly and told him it was ok he didn't need to buy you's a new garbage can. We saw the emergency vehicles and have since found out it was your husband. We just wanted you to know we were thinking of you and your family.

Andrea and Kambri, I would like to offer my deepest and most sincere condolences. I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Warren for many years. He was such a great gentleman and he will be truly missed and will always be remembered. Sincerely, Pascal (McKesson)

My condolences goes out to his family
