Condolences
I knew Dave when we both attended Western in the early 90s. Because we each went back to school as older students, we gravitated toward each other. We helped each other get through some tough courses (looking at you Dr. Whebell) and we socialized with our spouses outside of school. Many London Knights hockey games, and London Tigers AA ball games were enjoyed. After graduation, as it often happens, we went our separate ways and lost touch. I am saddened today to learn of his passing, and wish all the best to Deb and Matt and Sarah.

There are no words to explain how much we loved Dave. In our thoughts always. Dave was there always for my family a the drop of a hat. From Vienna to Blenheim. We had many laughs together and tears. I will never forget how he stepped in for my brother , my mom , and other relatives during their end of life time. Sara and Matthew, your dad was so proud of both of you and know that he was loved by many.

Dear Mathew, Sarah, Terry and Keith,
Thinking of each of you today as you remember the life of your father and brother. As cousins, we mourn with each you.
I am thankful to have spent some time with David not so long ago. We reminisced a bit of our childhoods and shared some laughs and some tears. He impacted the lives of so many people and has left a wonderful legacy.
Love to all,

So many memories of our time together in seminary at Huron- and specially of our daily drives to the Oxford Regional Centre one summer. We shared many laughs together with our classmates- and also some difficult times. Dave was always there for all of us.
Rest in peace, my friend , and may your family be blessed with God's loving care during this time of grief.
Rev. Canon Sharon McCormick.

I count David among my many wonderful friends and mentors. I am truly grateful for the wisdom he shared with me during my time at Grace Church, Rondeau and as a friend in the years since. His presence will be missed but his gifts will live on in the many whom he mentored over the years. Grace and peace to Sarah and Matthew and all who seek to find blessing in remembering David.

My thoughts and condolences to you on the passing of David. We go way back to St. Paul's in Chatham days. David's dad Doug came back to St. Paul's to marry us. It was always a blessing to be able to meet up with David at different services. May your memories of David be carried close to your heart forever

He was a good man and despite his health and COVID-19 he looked after his people ( parishioners, family and friends). He would make his rounds of calling and checking on everyone he could . He was a kind man and will be missed.

An awesome Priest and compassionate man....Father Dave was always there when my wife was battling cancer and came when we lost her. He was never too busy to give of himself and cared a great deal for our community. God Rest and Bless you Dave.

So sorry to hear this tragic news. Reverend Fuller has been out with me on a Ride-Along as a Chatham-Kent chaplain and I really enjoyed my time with him. He was such a nice man and had a great compassion for this community. My prayers are with his family and friends.

Father Dave was such an important presence in our lives. He baptised both of my daughters in our little Erieau church. He came to our side when my father was dying. He was always there when we needed him. His joy and pride of our church kids was always present. Loved him & his sermons.
Such a loss for our community.

Father Dave is one of God's special persons who has been called home. Our sad loss is truly heaven's gain.
The many years Mary Lou and I were privileged to spend in friendly association with David at Grace Church, Rondeau will always be a blessed memory to us. He was our priest and a true friend. We extend the deepest of sympathies to his family, especially to his children, Matthew and Sarah. The parish of Rondeau Bay will have a difficult time in replacing this true priest and leader.

Sorry for your loss. I'm sorry to say I didn't know him personally, but we will be praying for all those affected, especially his Rev. Fuller's congregations in Blenheim and Erieau.

He was definitely an amazing man, I will never forget him allowing me to light the candle for Dad (and behind the altar nonetheless) and our conversations...I am thankful he was there for my Mom night when my Dad passed, and feel blessed to have known him. The loss of such a figure in the church will be near impossible to replace. He was understanding, compassionate, open to listening and learning, non judgemental...the list goes on. I hope that someone is able to give his children the same comfort that he was able to give to us, my hearts truly go out to you as your Dad was an amazing man, and the only person who was able to give me some comfort when my own Dad passed. Thinking of all of the lives that he has touched, and missing him always.

So sorry to see our cousin leave. Doesn’t seem that long ago that we were playing and hanging around like long-lost cousins in our backyard on Retlaw Drive in Sarnia.
Or the time we were driving around in Chatham on a Friday night with the Bay City rollers blaring in the car as they had just come out with “Saturday Night”!
Most recently the time we spent attending Aunt Julie’s funeral in Iroquois, a year ago this past May.
As grandma Mills said “a parent should never have to bury their child” so I hope uncle Doug is coping OK.
Condolences from our family to yours!
