Our sincerest condolences to the Fulkerson families in their loss of a proud resident of Erieau, Susie Fulkerson-Attewell. Having grown up in Erieau and still being in close contact with Jim and Janice, Bertha and Brian, this is a tragic end to a wonderful person. As a frequent visitor to the Fulkerson home in my younger years, Bud and Audrey were like substitute parents looking out for the 'boys'. As a commercial fishing family like the MacDonalds, the Goodhues and the Pilons, there has been a bond amongst these families and their descendants that still exists today. Although we have not lived in Erieau for a number of years, our connection to the village is still very strong. We will no doubt gather there at some point in the future to celebrate Susie's life.
