Irene Fryer passed away peacefully at the Blenheim Community Village on Wednesday June 29, 2022 in her 100th year.

Predeceased by her husband Henry, her brother Allan, sister-in-law Alice and sister Leona.  She will be sadly missed by her sons Lorne & Terri Fryer and Doug & Barbara Humphry, her grandchildren Eric & Amanda, Nick & Kelsey and Lizzi, her great grandchildren Jayden, Blake, Max, Sophia, Ruby and Luke.  She will also be dearly missed by special friends Ethel Townsend, Marion Pepper, Marie Goodwin and Laura.

A special thankyou to Dr. Martha Clendenning, N.P Delynne Teetzel, James and the entire staff at the Blenheim Community Village for their never-ending care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Irene’s life will take place at a later date.  Friends wishing to remember Irene with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear of Irene's passing. But to make it almost to a hundred years is . remarkable. I treasure the years we spent together at Blenheim United Church. We had some wonderful times. She was a gentle spirit. Sending my deepest condolences. But always remember that grief is the price we pay for loving. Sincerely, Barb Holden

Hadn't seen Irene for some time, but remember her well as a good old friend during my Blenheim years. She was a pillar of Blenheim United Church and will be remembered for a long time for her great faith and humble service

Saddened to hear of Irene's death. I'll miss our periodic phone conversations, sharing memories of our ministry in Blenheim United Church. Her commitment to her faith was exemplary and much appreciated. Blessings to all her family.

Sincere sympathy to the family of Irene Fryer. I visited with her when she was previously in the Blenheim Community Village and always had great conversations. She was a very nice person. RIP Irene.

Lorne, Terri and family, Sorry for the loss of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I remember Irene from Harwich Raleigh picking the boys up or coming to see them play sports. She was a lovely lady. Grief is a journey and can be traveled at your speed. Remember all the good times you shared and rejoice the time you had. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
