Dorothy Wickham of Blenheim passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on February 22, 2023.  She was the proud Mother of Bill & Deb Wickham of Shrewsbury and Linda Duff (Late Terry) of Toronto. She was loved by her grandchildren Matthew (Gabby), Elizabeth, Joey (Jacqui), Louise, David, James, Joseph and Patrick.
Dorothy was born in Woodbridge, the youngest of 11 children.  She and her late husband  James raised their family in Toronto.  After James passed away she moved to Blenheim, making it her home for the last 20 years.  She loved her daily walks and visiting the local vendors.  She also loved having her grandchildren for sleepovers and spoiling them with happy meals at McDonalds.
Cremation has taken place. Dorothy’s family would like to invite family and friends to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home for a time of visitation on Monday February 27 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Dorothy’s urn will be taken to Toronto and be laid to rest with her husband James.

Condolences

Bill, Deb and family. So sorry for your loss. May your memories give you comfort at this difficult time. Penny Wilton

Our condolences to the family. Dorothy would tell us about her husband and how she collected eggs on the farm while we drove her to church. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed.

Rest in Peace Dorothy. Although I did not get the chance to meet you, I have heard many beautiful things about you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as they grieve your loss, the memory of you will live on forever.

Remembering Dorothy from Glad Tidings Church, a sweet, lady.

Dorothy was one of the sweetest ladies I met while working at the Senior Centre. She enjoyed so many activities, especially darts!! Also, our day trips when we would hop in cars and head out for the day. She always had kind words to greet you with uptown when meeting her uptown. RIP Dorothy! Sincerely, George & Linda (Stonehouse)Paling

So sorry for your loss, Dorothy was always so sweet, My Mom lived next room to her at the home ( Midge ), We would bring her chocolate, I remember her & Rob singing all the time, She love to hold your hand & get hugs. Treasure the memories.

Ahh my sweet soul, you will be missed by many. Although covid drove us all apart, you will remain in so many people's hearts and memories. From your days at Gladtidings to your motoring your walker uptown every day. Stopping in the cherry tree for ice cream and a drink. Every time we met you brought a smile to my face. To Dorothy s family may you find peace and comfort in your many memories of her as you travel this path of grief.
