Diane Lynn Wilkins, much loved wife of Jeff Wilkins passed away on Saturday June 30, 2018. Diane was born 63 years ago to Doris and the late Lorne Goodwin. She grew up just outside of Blenheim sharing a special bond reserved only for sisters with Carol Embury (Bruce), Linda Minnie (Jim), Patty Dauphin (Bill) and Laurie Glassford (Dale).

Diane will be forever missed by her husband Jeff Wilkins and by her children Todd Lindsay, Lisa Luksa (Larry Warren), Matt Wilkins (Tina) and Andria Wilkins (Jorge Evora). She was an awesome Nanny to Owen Lindsay, Kolton Lindsay, Austin Wilkins, Ivory Wilkins, Ethan Wilkins, Marley Wilkins, Lincoln Wilkins, Willow Evora, Oaklea Evora and Everson Evora. She will be remembered by her mother in law Rose Wilkins (late Ken) and by her sisters and brothers in-law Sheri Huffman (Greg), David Wilkins (Kathleen) and Corey Wilkins. “Aunt Diny” will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will remember Diane as a selfless, loving person who put the needs of others before her own. She loved unconditionally and forgave quickly. She took care of God’s creatures. She loved dogs, horses and even had a raccoon as a house pet when she was young. Throughout her life and in the past few weeks she showed great perseverance and determination. She will be missed.

Friends and family are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Thursday night from 7 – 9 p.m. to support Diane’s family. A Funeral Service for Diane will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday July 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Diane’s urn will take place in Evergreen Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her Dad.
