Condolences

Daniel was a great friend. He shared openly and honestly with me which is rare nowadays. I will cherish the memories I have with him. I was lucky to be able to consider him a friend. We spoke the week before he past, i had no idea it wood be our last conversation. Rest in Peace Desperato!

I am so sorry for your loss. Daniel, or "French-Fry" as some of us called him; was a great friend and he will be truely missed. Although he is much older than me, him and I got along great. He was down to earth and fun to be around. He always had a story or two to tell. He was easy to talk to, confide in, and always offered good advice. I miss our weekly good, long conversations and bringing him baked goods as a surprise whenever I made extra. I miss his reaction whenever I brought him rice crispy squares, (his favourite treat). I remember how excited he was to show my boyfriend and I his apartment for the first time. He even let us bring our dog, to which he referred to himself as "Uncle Daniel". He may not have had much in the minds of some, but he was proud of what he did have and to him it was more than most. French Fry was the nicest old man I have ever known. I am going to miss that old French Fart!

Quelle triste nouvelle ! Tu es parti trop tôt. Mes plus sincères condoléances à la famille. Je vous aime et je pense à vous.

Mes sympathies à toute la famille, dont Lyne, Dany et Trycia. Mes pensées sont avec vous.

Dan will be missed! He is already missed for his spontaneity, incredible sense of humour, his many songs, jingles, anecdotes. We may have had an iffy start, but in the end, we shared good drink, food, stories, and friendship! Rest In Peace amigo!
