Condolences

I would just like to give my condolences to Mrs. Bryant's family, she was a very special person to me. Mrs. Bryant was my grade three teacher and nurtured me at a very important stage of my life. I was one of the very few Black students in her school and she encouraged me to do well the year she had me in her class. She made sure to show off my artwork to all of the staff, including the york region school board higher-ups. Thanks to her I became a very successful graphic artist with over 25 years of experience. Thank you, Mrs. Bryant.

Bea and Betty were friends in the Air Force but lost touch over the years. Bea came to Betty's home in Clear Creek for the summer following the end of the war and helped harvest the tomato crop. Betty still has a painting Bea painted and gave her as a wedding present. Betty is still alive, living in "Harvest" retirement home in Tillsonburg. She will be 93 in August. She regrets not googling Bea's name earlier and reconnecting. She has very fond memories of Bea. Condolences to George and David.
