Hilde Sekulic of Erieau passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Marco Sekulic in 1969. Hilde was born in Germany and was the last surviving member of her family. She will be missed by her children; Helga Zonyic (late Mike), the late Wolfgang Lindner, Brigette Meyers (late Manford), Val Ryan (late Eric), Gloria & Robert Hoskins, Milovan (Mel & Lorraine Sekulic, Radevan (Rudy) & Cheryl Sekulic and Donna & Wayne Faubert. She loved her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Hilde was proud to be a resident of Erieau for the past 60 years and could often be seen sitting on her porch enjoying the world and her beautiful flower garden. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she made the best soup in town! Friends and family are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Sunday for visitation from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Hilde, officiated by Rev. David Fuller will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday March 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends wishing to remember Hilde with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
